When scheduling a private or 1 hour kids private surf lesson for more than one person in our on-line schedule, just reserve and pay for one person and bring as many of people as you like. When you arrive at the 2 Mile Surf Shop you can pay for your rental gear and the additional participants. It is recommended that groups over 3 call or email us after scheduling on-line so that we will have the appropriate number of boards suits and instructors available schedule for your lesson.

When using our on-line schedule to join our beginner surf class you must reserve a space for each person that plans to attend. Last minute drop-ins can only join the class if there is room. When you arrive at the 2 mile surf shop you can pay for your rental gear needed for the lesson.

Please do not "just show up" for unscheduled private lessons. There will not be an instructor available.

You can cancel a lesson 48 hours prior to its scheduled time with no penalty. However, there are no refunds if you cancel within 48 hours or do not show up for your lesson.

Arriving more than 20 minutes late to a private lesson or 10 minutes late to a group class will be considered a non-refundable last minute cancellation.

Availability for weekend lessons often becomes scarce towards the end of the week. Please contact us early!

Bolinas Surf Lessons only postpones lessons in the event of severe weather conditions such as heavy wind or rain. If this situation arises, you will be contacted either the night before or morning of the lesson. Bolinas Surf Lessons instructors reserve the right to cancel lessons at any time to ensure the safety of our students and others in the water.
